MiSight 1 Day by CooperVision
MiSight 1 day from CooperVision remains the only contact lens with approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration for slowing the progression of childhood myopia.
Now available in higher prescriptions, the range covers -0.25D to -10.00D (0.50D steps after -6.00D), allowing even more children to benefit from myopia management.
MiSight 1 day contact lenses are backed by the longest-running soft contact lens study among children.1 This extraordinary study confirmed the overwhelming preference children have for contact lenses, giving optometrists the evidence to support their decision making and parental conversations.

Stellest by Essilor
According to Norbert Gorny, Chief Scientific Officer at EssilorLuxottica, “Long-term clinical data is essential to showcase the continued efficacy and performance of the lens in children”. Recently released five-year data shows continued efficacy of Stellest lenses in controlling myopia progression and axial elongation.
The results showed:
• Over five years, Essilor Stellest lenses slowed myopia progression by 1.75D*1 and axial elongation by 0.72mm**1 on average for all subjects, compared to the extrapolated control group, and
• The efficacy was sustained in older children (up to 18 years old), as the children who completed the fifth-year study were aged between 13–18 years.
The study will continue for two more years.

MiyoSmart by HOYA
MiyoSmart provides a robust and wide spectrum of evidence, empowering you to meet the needs of diverse patients with confidence.
The award winning1-3 MiyoSmart spectacle lenses were shown to slow myopia progression by 60% in children aged eight to 13.4
Furthermore, the findings of the six-year, longterm follow-up study proved that the MiyoSmart spectacle lens myopia control effect is sustained over time for children wearing the lens, with an average cumulative myopia progression less than 1.00D and axial elongation 0.6 mm over six years in children that wore MiyoSmart for the duration of the study.5
It was also confirmed that patients who stopped wearing the MiyoSmart spectacle lens showed no rebound effects.5
CLEAR AND SUN
MiyoSmart lenses are available in clear and sun options, to suit patients’ needs.
• MiyoSmart Chameleon, HOYA’s photochromic spectacle lenses, rapidly adapt to the level of sunlight, providing children with as much protection as they need at any time and place.6,7,8
• MiyoSmart Sunbird, HOYA’s polarised spectacle lenses, are the ideal addition to Miyosmart clear spectacle lenses for extra protection from intense sunlight and glare.7,9

MyCon by Rodenstock
Whether it’s tablets, computers or homework, today’s kids focus more on things right in front of them rather than spending time outdoors. This behaviour is leading to more and more children developing myopia.
Rodenstock My Con provides an ideal solution for myopia control. These children’s lenses are precisely designed to correct myopia, ensure sharp vision, and counteract the progression of myopia.
My Con lenses from Rodenstock are available in a variety of indices in clear, tinted, ColorMatic, and polarised options, and can be flexibly adapted to a child’s needs. Most importantly, they are both thinner and lighter than many other myopia lenses on the market.

ZEISS MyoCare
ZEISS MyoCare lenses consist of cylindrical annular refractive elements (CARE) technology with alternating defocus and correction zones that expand towards the periphery of the lens.
The unique ZEISS ClearFocus design on the back surface prevents hyperopic defocus, independent of gaze direction.
At the 2024 Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Conference (ARVO 24), ZEISS presented results1 from two on-going multi-centre trials in China and Europe:
• The use of ZEISS MyoCare lenses was shown to significantly slow progression of myopia compared to the use of single-vision lenses.
• After 12 months of lens wear, the difference in myopia progression with ZEISS Myo Care in Asian children compared with single vision was spherical equivalent: 0.31D and axial length: 0.13 mm.
The data represents a comprehensive evaluation of ZEISS MyoCare across multiple sites involving large samples and ethnic groups.
ZEISS has expanded its product range from 1.5, 1.59, and 1.6 to include the 1.67 index, available with a six-month unconditional warranty.
