Shamir has launched the Shamir Lens Simulator, an interactive digital tool designed to help eye care professionals (ECPs) deliver a more engaging and educational experience for patients.

Designed for use during patient consultations, the simulator enables ECPs to visually demonstrate the benefits of premium lens designs, coatings, and treatments.

A slider comparison tool helps demonstrate differences between lens options, while also providing visual comparisons of treatments, including photochromic options.

Other features include interactive demonstrations of major lens designs and coatings, 2D and 3D lens-thickness simulations, and intuitive navigation for use during patient consultations.

The Shamir Lens Simulator is compatible with tablets, smartphones, and PCs.

Bausch + Lomb Ultra One Day for Astigmatism silicone hydrogel (SiHy) daily disposable contact lenses will launch this month in Australia at the International Cornea and Contact Lens Congress (ICCLC) 2026 in Hobart, Tasmania.

The lenses will be available to order from 1 November 2026.
