The Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (AUSCRS) annual conference includes a dedicated doctors’ program, a support staff program, and an advanced trainee program.

Now presided over by Dr Jacqueline Beltz and Professor Gerard Sutton, the AUSCRS conference is renowned for making learning and debate fun. Educational sessions are complemented by a comprehensive trade fair, a highly creative film festival, and a gala dinner to be remembered.

Tasmanian Lifestyle Congress provides a unique educational experience for optometrists in beautiful Hobart. An extensive line-up of high-quality speakers at this year’s congress includes Professor Alex Hewitt, Dr Jack Phu, Dr Kristin Bell, and Joshua Clark.

For the first time, Optometry Tasmania will host a grand rounds session showcasing interesting cases from colleagues. A CPR refresher course is available for members of Optometry Tasmania at the Australian Red Cross the day before the conference, but places are limited.
