iTrace Visual Function Analyzer

Forward Ray Tracing Wavefront (WF) technology supports accurate intraocular lens (IOL) analysis by minimising the impact of complex IOL optics. The iTrace Visual Function Analyzer delivers clear, at-a-glance insight into the eye’s optical system, whether pre-, intra-, or post-surgery. It helps predict surgical outcomes using the corneal performance indicator and measures depth of focus to understand how each patient responds to an IOL.

For challenging or irregular corneas, iTrace improves IOL power and orientation calculations using 4 mm corneal wavefront data, delivering exceptional predictability. Used correctly, iTrace is a reliable in house second opinion.

Revo T2

Revo’s new topography algorithm, T2, enhances corneal surface reconstruction through optimised modelling, reduced noise sensitivity, and increased reliability of computed parameters. The system captures 62% more data points by increasing the number of radial B-scans to 26.

For darkly pigmented eyes, T2 optimises dark-image capture using light disks and light veins. It also improves eye-tracking startup in challenging conditions such as low light, glare, or patient movement, and reduces image artifacts, bright streaks, specks, and gaps – thereby improving overall examination quality.

T2 provides simulated keratometry (SimK) values referenced to the industry-leading anterior tomographer, and calculates SimK from a fixed annulus with an inner radius of 1.6 mm and an outer radius of 2.4 mm.

Plexitome

Plexitome is a single-use, ophthalmic device designed for anterior stromal puncture (ASP) in the treatment of recurrent corneal erosion and epithelial basement membrane dystrophy.

It features a 6.2 mm micro-spike disc (~675 spikes) engineered to deliver uniform, depth-controlled punctures through Bowman’s layer, promoting strong and durable epithelial adhesion. Compared with manual needle ASP, Plexitome provides superior procedural consistency, efficiency, and reproducibility. Its controlled penetration profile minimises the risk of visually significant scarring, enabling safe use within the optical axis. The device supports rapid, in-clinic treatment with reduced variability between operators and may contribute to faster epithelial healing and lower recurrence rates.

1stQ AddOn

Cataract and refractive lens exchange patients are educated and have high expectations. There are several situations where a 1stQ AddOn secondary supplementary sulcus lens may be required to achieve the best outcome. The 1stQ AddOn lenses (Medicontur Group) have very high rotational stability in the sulcus due to the non-torque four-point fixation design. Available in monofocal, monofocal toric, trifocal, and trifocal toric options, these lenses allow precise correction of residual spherical and astigmatic refractive errors via the 0.25D sph eq steps and up to 11.0D cyl powers. Reversibility of trifocality is possible at any time via the dual lens procedure or trifocal upgrade, which provides a ‘get out of jail free’ card in the event that the trifocal component becomes inappropriate.

Viscotears

Designed to provide long-lasting lubrication and protection of the ocular surface, Viscotears Gel Preservative Free drops utilise carbomer gel technology to form a clear, bioadhesive layer that gently coats the corneal epithelium. This helps stabilise the tear film and reduce evaporation, delivering sustained relief from dry eye symptoms. Its prolonged action also supports the cornea in situations where the surface is compromised or healing, such as superficial keratitis or post-ocular procedures.

The preservative-free, single-dose format minimises the risk of irritation, making it well suited for patients with sensitive eyes or those requiring frequent application, while supporting overall corneal surface health.
