The 8th annual Ophthalmology Updates! conference will be held on the weekend of 30–31 August 2025 at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney.

Ophthalmologists, fellows in training, retired fellows, residents, orthoptists, optometrists, and nurses are all welcome to attend.

This year’s ophthalmic conference will include five international and four Australian experts: Associate Professors Jay Sridhar and Simon Fung (USA), Professor Richard Allen (USA), and Drs Sui Wong (UK), Ben LaHood (South Australia), Jennifer Fan-Gaskin (Victoria), Amy Cohn (Victoria), Parth Shah (ACT), and Jo Sims (New Zealand).

The conference is approved by RANZCO for 12 CPD points and by Orthoptists Australia for 10 CPD points.

Register to attend the annual Optometry Clinical Conference, hosted by Optometry Australia, Optometry Victoria/South Australia, Optometry Queensland/Northern Territory, and Optometry Tasmania.

Taking place at Centrepiece in Melbourne from 17–18 August, this in person conference will unite a diverse range of professionals from the optical industry, including optometrists, optical dispensers, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, practice staff, retailers, and students.

Certifications will include CPD accreditation for attendees from Australia and New Zealand.
