O-SHOW26 – the optical industry’s most dynamic trade event – will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday 16 and Monday 17 August 2026.
Free to attend, this year’s trade show will bring together optical professionals from across Australia for two high-impact days of business development, fashion, networking, and innovation.
With an ever-expanding exhibitor line-up, O-SHOW26 promises a comprehensive showcase of the latest products, technologies, and services shaping the future of optics. From independent frame brands to global suppliers, equipment innovators, and service providers, this is your opportunity to see it all under one roof.
MYOPIA MASTERY WORKSHOP
O-SHOW26 kicks off on Sunday morning with the Myopia Mastery Workshop – a half-day session that takes a practical, business-focused approach to establishing and scaling a profitable myopia offering. Attendees will gain insight into the business disciplines required for long-term success, alongside presentations from industry leaders currently delivering myopia-related products and services.
WOMEN IN OPTICS ROUNDTABLE
On Sunday afternoon, the Women in Optics Leadership Roundtable will provide like-minded practice professionals with a dedicated space to connect, share experiences, and create actionable growth plans. This session will combine peer-led roundtable discussions with insightful presentations and opportunities for collaborative problem solving.
THE O-SHOW FASHION CATWALK
For the first time, the event will include the O-SHOW Eyewear Fashion Catwalk.
Drawing inspiration from international optical shows and Melbourne’s own fashion profile, the catwalk will run multiple times over both days, showcasing the latest in fashion and trend eyewear, sunglasses, safety eyewear, and kids’ collections.
FRONT ROW ACCESS TO INNOVATION
At the Front Row Café, host EssilorLuxottica will reveal the breakthroughs shaping the future of eyewear and eye care – from advanced dry eye solutions and low-level red light therapy to next-generation wearables like Nuance Audio, Ray-Ban Meta, and Oakley Meta. The spotlight will also shine on Essilor Stellest 2.0 lenses, setting a new standard in myopia management.
More than a café break. This will be your front row seat to the future of the category.
CELEBRATING INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE
O-SHOW26 will host the ODMA 2026 awards program with categories including fashion, sun, and kids. Additionally, this year’s awards program will pay tribute to individuals raising standards through customer service.
