Specsavers 4th Best Workplace

Specsavers has been officially recognised as Australia's 4th Best Workplace for 2025 by Great Place to Work, marking the third consecutive year the optometry retailer has secured a national Top 10 large business category position.

The recognition reinforces the vital connection between workplace culture and patient outcomes across Specsavers’ network of more than 400 stores delivering accessible, high-quality eye care to millions of Australians.

“This recognition is a reflection of the culture we’ve built,” said Dr Ben Ashby, Clinical Services Director at Specsavers ANZ. “When our partners and optometrists feel supported, valued, and inspired, it directly impacts the quality of care our customers receive.”

Specsavers’ approach encompasses clinical development, leadership pathways, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusive workplace practices, supported by commitment to innovation and data-driven care.

“Being named one of Australia’s Best Workplaces for the third year running, and to be 4th on the Top 10 list is a proud moment for Specsavers,” said Paul Bott, Managing Director ANZ. “It’s a testament to the dedication of our store partners, support teams, and clinicians who work together to deliver exceptional care.”

The Best Workplaces in Australia List celebrates organisations creating environments where employees feel valued and empowered. Companies earn recognition through rigorous analysis of employee feedback and organisational culture assessment.

This year’s evaluation captured insights from 158,749 Australian employees, making it the largest workplace culture assessment in Australian history.
